• Next, an engine that is available in still other select Jetta GLS models, is a 1.8-liter, 4-cylinder, inline V-5 engine that delivers 180 horsepower and 174 pounds-per-foot of torque.



• And finally, the engine that comes standard in all Jetta GLI and Jetta GLX models: a 2.8-liter, 6-cylinder inline engine that delivers 200 horsepower and 195 pounds-per-foot of torque.

So many Jetta parts, so little time. Yet Jetta performance is enhanced by some other amenities, as well. All Jetta vehicles include power- assisted rack and pinion steering, front and rear gas shock absorbers, independent McPherson struts, and a standard five-speed manual transmission, to name a few.
